New Director of Areas and Projects at the IIN

Paulina Fernández Fawaz, sociologist and with a master in Management and Public Policies, recently joined the IIN technical team, as Director of Areas and Projects.

She will work in coordination with the Director General and with the Legal, Promotion and Protection of Rights and Communication and Information Areas, and will be responsible for managing and monitoring the projects with specific funds that the IIN manages.

Paulina Fernández is Chilean and author of numerous publications and has wide experience in the field of childhood and adolescence, having held various governmental positions in Chile.

She has been specialized in the areas of design, management and evaluation of programs for children and adolescents, in the areas of job training for youth, protection of children whose rights are violated and adolescent criminal responsibility, as well as in the methodological design and management of tools for decision making on public policies in the social area, with special emphasis on children and adolescents.
